The Vampire Armand by Anne Rice

Last version of Armand. I guess I never gonna paint him again, because... well, I'm totally satisfied with this illustration, which is exactly how I imagined Armand when I read the Vampire Chronicles. Armand v.1 will be on my scraps section. By the way, I wanted to paint this exactly on the same position than v.1, to see my evolution from 2006 to now.

I absolutely love this, its stunning and looks so real. Almost like you could reach out and ruffle his hair. Though judging by the look in his very haunting eyes, that might not be the best idea I've ever had. lol. Wonderful work!

wow, wonderful. the detail is amazing and the way you portaied Armand is just so Armand, with all the wonderful features we love. I'm especially stunned by the hair~ It's not as extremely curly as some people tend to draw it when drawing Armand, but it still fits the description very well (it looks a bit like my own hair, haha xD )
